New media technologies include podcast, voice command searches, interactive television. the way to distinguish "old media" from "new media" is by its speed and how its viewers can interact with it. New Media allows its viewers to receive data in the comforts of their own home and on their own time. "Old Media" is schedule programming that is not necessarily easy for all its viewers to access and or slower. According to "Turner's secret Web Weapon " New media allows the companies to access a larger demographic. It seems that "Old Media" may still access some people however "New Media" doubles the access for viewers and also doubles the amount of advertising for companies. It seems to be a win win situation for both parties involved.
