OLD vs New
1."New media allows the companies to access a larger demographic. It seems that "Old Media" may still access some people however "New Media" doubles the access for viewers and also doubles the amount of advertising for companies. Its a win win situation for both parties involved. "New Media" out shines "Old Media" because of its speed to distribute to its viewers. Old media may take a day or two to catch up. This presents "Old Media" the opportunity to catch up by making it easier to access their information if they interact with "New Media"(watching tv on a laptop). For the companies that have opted not to be involved in Podcasting, apps for phones or any interactive media their numbers are falling by the minute according to Crain's New York Business. In some cases these companies may become obsolete if they don't join the new wave of technology.
